"Field Post letter by airmail from Hamburg to Skive 1. November 1940 via the Karup airfield. On arrival in Karup a Danish stamp has been applied to pay the rate for a domestic letter, 20 øre. The letter originally mailed from "Luftpostamt - Feldpost 14568 Hamburg". A very unusual type of letter."

Prepaid 8 sk. letter sent from Copenhagen to Altona in Holsten via Kiel 16 February 1865 during the “overenskomstløse periode”, via Kiel the rate was 8 sk. instead of the normal 4 sk. The letter then charged 2 Schilling Courant by the addressee. A fine postal history letter sent during the period without any postal exchange agreement.

Coupon-Réponse International 25 øre cancelled 4 November 1907 with “Kjøbenhavn V.” swiss-type cancel. Scarce item.

Duplex numeral “259” Korinth JB. P. stamped on a 8 øre bicolored. This numeral is one of the absolutely scarcest Danish numerals and much sought after.

The overprint appear almost as a triple overprint, where one of the two fingerprints is almost complete with visible and fine characterics of the fingerprint.
