Airmail letter sent from Odense to Paraguay 19 November 1935 bearing 5 øre HC Andersen and three 1 kr. Airmail stamp tied by Odense CDS. This flight from Africa to South America is aboard the 2nd pendular flight. A short time in November 1935 the ship was taken ashore for repairs and flights was carried out by a Zeppeliner across the Atlantic sea.

X tied by CDS “KØBENHAVN 12 - 15.6.36” and front stamped with red “DEUTSCHE LUFTPOST - EUROPA-SÜDAMERIKA”. Letter rate 30 øre 0-20 gram, plus 2x 230 øre airmail surcharge each 5 gr (5-10 gram), correct franking of 490 øre.

Letter sent from Holsted to Brørup 27. September 1944 franked with 10 øre underpaying the 20 øre rate. The postal service assumed that the letter contained money, then endorsed by “Formodes at indeholde Penge” and stamped “Brørup Postkontor” “27. SEP 1944”. As such, the letter were opened and proved to contain 13 kr. and fined with 20%, thus kr. 2,60 plus missing postage max. 20 øre due plus registration, 50 øre, total 3,10 kr. due by addressee.
