Tofarvet Øre 1875

Parcel card franked with three 20 øre Coat-of-Arms issue perforation 14 x 13 1/2 and 12 øre bicolored pen-cancelled to be sent from Copenhagen to Stettin. Noted on top margin “pr. „Titania””. Quite remarkably not with any postmarks, dates or note of parcels, a piece that I never have the the like of earlier.

15 pf. letter from Hamburg on February 1876 to Copenhagen, from there readdressed and posted to Assens on 17 February 1876 with an 8 øre bicolored (SE-corner missing perf) - a very unusually combination with danish and DR stamps.

4 øre stationery envelope uprated with 4-strip 3 øre bicoulored and pair 5 øre arms-type cancelled with 'KJØBENHAVN V. 6.2.95 7-4E' on registered letter to Lillehammer, Norway. Registration mark 'DANMARK R 0603'. Correct 10 øre letter rate to Norway plus 16 øre registration fee, total 26 øre. A very decorative letter.

100 øre bicolored normal frame perf. 12 3/4 watermark II, single franking on DKK 6.500 value letter from Copenhagen to Maribo 28 November 1902, lilac registration label 'Kbh.K.Pakkep. 221' and backstamped 'MARIBO 29.11.02 2-7F'. 10 øre domestic rate 1.10.1902-1.10.1919, value fee 0-200 kr. 10 øre 1.10.1902-1.7.1908, plus 20 øre from 200-1000 kr., plus 60 øre with 10 for each 1000 kr. from 1.000-7.000 kr., total postage exactly 100 øre. RARE single franking rate.

8 øre bicolored perf. 12 3/4 on COD 2 Kr. 60 Øre (Postopkrævning) parcel card from Ribe 9 April 1896 to Copenhagen. Manuscript '20 Øre paa Pakken' - a rare split franking in excellent condition.

Letter from Aarhus 5 December 1893 to Banana Point, Congo River, Independent State of Congo, West coast of Africa. Franked with five 4 øre and five 8 øre bicoloured peforation 14. 2.letter rate 1.1.1886 - 31.12.1898, only three 60 øre letters recorded to Belgian Congo (ref. Karsten Jensen registry.) Stamps with some defects can be expected for this rare destination.

Letter from Odense (ca. 1877) to Bogense on Fynen, cancelled with manuscript 'Odense 3/2', backstamped 'BOGENSE 3/2 1 POST'. Franked with 8 øre bicolored (with faults), rare manuscript cancellation.

Ordinary envelope intended for use as parcel letter, sent from Næstved 3 April 1900 to Skive.

3 øre Postcard with additional franking of two 1 øre and 5 øre Coat of Arms issue sent from Copenhagen to Sao Paulo Brazil 20 June 1903. Scarce destination.

Parcel 55 Kv. “Adressebrev” envelope with C.O.D. of 30 kr. 68 øre sent from Roskilde 14 September 1892 to Copenhagen, bearing two 8 øre bicolored tied by swiss-type Roskilde CDS, right 8 øre stamp with round NE corner. “Frmk 24 Øre paa Forsendelse”, 24 øre of stamps affixed on parcel. Rare.

Parcel letter weighing 9 20 quint sent from Copenhagen to Hamburg 7 June 1882, bearing two 3 øre, 16 øre and 50 øre bicolored tied by 2-ring without number. Colorfull letter.

Part of large printed matter sent from Copenhagen to Nürnberg 9 January 1905, bearing a 50 øre bicolored WM. III paying for the 10th weight rate, 5 øre per 50 grams.

Advertising envelope “Allgemeine Zeitung” sent from Copenhagen to Veile, bearing an 8 øre bicolored perf. 14 x 13 ½. A rare and unusual advertising envelope with a page from a newspaper printed.

Printed Matter sent from Copenhagen to Aalesund, Norway 29 July 1879 franked with 5 øre bicolored, I Printing. SUPERB in every respect, likely the finest 5 øre bicolored issue on cover in existence.

Duplex numeral “259” Korinth JB. P. stamped on a 8 øre bicolored. This numeral is one of the absolutely scarcest Danish numerals and much sought after.
