Fattigsag letter from Birkerød 23 February 1871 to Ballerup-Maaløv. Taarbæk type hand stamp 'BIRKERØD' alongisde TPO K-229 'n.sj.jb.p.b. 23/2 20TOG' and for service via Copenhagen Foot Post ' F: 11 1/2 23/2 71 P: ' in blue. Unpaid letter charged '6' sk. in red crayon.

Esrom type 'VEDBY' on 4 sk. brev-kort from Vedby 15 June 1872 via Slagelse, to Copenhagen. Superb 'VEDBY' strike and rare in this quality, two holes from stapler middle of the card.

Royal Service letter sent from Rødbye to Copenhagen 12 December 1858 stamped with curved 1-line mark “RØDBYE 1858” and ink date “12/12”. Postmark used a year between 1858 and 1859.

Unpaid parcel letter from Copenhagen 6 November 1879 to Frankurt a/m, Germany. Parcel registration label 'Fra Kbh. Pakke. 679' and cds 'KJØBENHAVN PP 6/11', Slesvig border transit mark boxed 'Aus /über) Dänemark / via Hamburg 2 / Porto von Woyens'. Charged '100' in blue crayon, backstamped Hamburg 7/11 and Frankfurt a/m 8/11 79. Rare sealing label in blue on back ' ·KONGL.BREVPOSTKONTOR / KIØBENHAVN.' with crown and posthorn in the seal.

Parcel letter from Copenhagen 13 August 1871 to Potsdam, Germany. Hand stamp 'KIØBENHAVN 13/8' and parcel registration label 'Fra Kbh. Pakkep. 548' and Slesvig transit Train Post Office TPO boxed 'Aus (über) Dänemark / via Woÿens.' and 'Auslagen' in red. Blue crayon '4/6' 4 Sgr. (4 sk. per pound, but minimum 16 sk.) Danish share and 6 Sgr. German share (Rayon IV 8-120 mil) 4 Sgr. pr. 2 pound but minimum 6 Sgr., total charge 0f 10 Sgr. '10' blue ink.

Wrapper 5 øre green King Christian X sent from Fredericia 7 August 1919 to Aarhus. Uprated with 2 øre wavy-line and canceled with 2-line mark 'Dansk / Købestævne.', rare.

Royal Service letter sent from Slagelse to Kallundborg 4 December 1852 stamped with 1-line mark “SLAGELSE” 4/12 1852. Only recorded used 32 days from November 1852 til Jan 1853.

Royal Service letter sent from Skanderborg to Viborg 29 May 1860 stamped with the scarcely found segment mark “SKANDERBORG”.

Unpaid letter sent from Stettin to Copenhagen 16 August 1855. Octogonal “FRA STETTIN” in blue colour, scarce in this colour. The postmark was used on board the mail steamer on letters found in the mail box. Conventional 18 sk. postage as per postal agreement per 1 February 1854, noted with pencel “18” sk. and due by recipient.

”Nestved – 15. Mai 1852.” 2-line cancel on front of 6 sk. prepaid letter to Copenhagen. Extremely fine example of a popular postmark. Rare in this quality.

Rural letter sent from Taanum to Bjerregrav near Randers the 30 June 1885 bearing a 4 øre bicolored 34th printing tied by two-ring private rural cancel “TAANUN BREVSEMLINGSSTED 30/6” and “S T” initials added to the stamp, but not on the departing postmark dated 1/7 on reverse. A most striking a fascinating example of the Danish private rural postmarks.

Royal Service (K.T.m.a.) letter sent from Thisted to Viborg 3 March 1858. Stamped on front with 1-line mark “Thisted” and manuscript date “3/3 58”. Rarely seen.

Brev-Kort sent from Haslev to Aversi 25.7.1891 bearing a 3 øre bicolored IX printing, tied by CDS Lap VIa-2 “HASLEV 25.7.1891” in violet. Only recorded LAP VIa-2 Haslev on letter.

Post card 5 øre sent from Nordby to Sønderho at Fanø 28 December 1893. Stamped with office 2-line mark “Kassebrev fra Nordby” and stamped on arrival with grotesk type “SØNDERHO 28.12 2 POST”. Few known.

6 øre Postcard sent from a steampship in Malmö to Copenhagen 23 October 1877, cancelled on arrival in Copenhagen with ship date stamp CDS “FRA SVERRIG 23 10 1877”.

Ship-letter sent from Stettin to Copenhagen 21 October 1859 showing octagonal “FRA STETTIN”, endorsed “18” sk. due by the addressee, paying the German rayon 2 to Danish rayon 9, each 9 sk.

Royal Service letter sent from Holbek to Copenhagen 23 February 1853 stamped with curved 1-line mark “HOLBEK 18” and ink date “23/2 - 53”. Postmark only used 20 days in February-March 1853. Rare item.
