Air Mail service erected due to frozen waters at Storebælt on 7th February to Aarhus. Letter sent from Copenhagen 7 February 1922 to Aarhus bearing two 20 øre Christian X issue, paying 20 øre letter rate and 20 øre surcharge for the Air mail surcharge. The plane flew between Aarhus-Samsø and Kalundborg. The Air Force established a tent camp at Gisseløre near Kalundborg and an “Airport” was made directly on the ice, Airmail label 87x13 mm. First Day of Ice Air mail service. The flights from Kalundborg-Aarhus-Kalundborg made a stop at Samsø, flown by pilot Bjarkov.

Parcel shipped from Copenhagen to Stokkseyri, Iceland via Reykjavik 21 May 1933. From Reykjavik to Stokkseyri a charge for transportation by car of “Bilgj ób 1 kr.” were paid upon arrival by receiver. The rate was 5 aur per 50 km, thus for parcel of kg. 10 x 10 aur (50-100 km) makes 100 aur. It is very unusual to find this sort of local charge by car.

Hershend’s Air Mail from Bangkok 6 May 1926 to Copenhagen, with Copenhagen arrival 5 June 1926 manuscript and stamped on receipt in Copenhagen with round handstamp 'ROYAL SIAMESE LEGATION COPENHAGEN'. Franked with a provisional 2 Satang/14 block of four and cancelled with 'Bangkok P.O. No. 2'. Of the two Fokker planes, Herschend’s V2 made an emergency landing at a Burmese ricefield, Botved continued to Tokyo. Herschend’s machine had to wait for repair before returning to Copenhagen. 'A rare Danish Air Mail, with Herschend’s signature.
