Royal Service K.T. parcel letter from Humlebæk to Copenhagen, 11 May 1864-75. Postmarked with numeral 166, Humlebæk – who only had this postmark available.

Prepaid lettersheet from Odense 17 September 1854 to Salzgitter, Kingdom of Hannover. Paid 22 sk. postage, sent – Franco Directe – and Hanoverian – D – in red crayon for D of Denmark.

Franco letter (letter front with flap) from Randers (1831-32) to Gothenburg, with instruction - franco Helsingborg - , Swedish postage 9 Skilling Banco paid to Gothenburg, and Swedish bill no. 5 on front. . – RANDERS – straight line mark - on reverse and town manuscript – Rand. DAKA #3. According to Carstensen, only recorded use in 1831 of the 25 mm RANDERS postmark. With disinfection holes against cholera.

Royal Service K.D.S. ship-letter sent from Copenhagen 27 July 1855 to Itzehoe, showing a clear strike of the octagonal – FRA KJÖBENHAVN – a rare use on Royal Service letters. Furhtermore, the letter is sent by an official from Schleswig-Holstein-Lauenburg Wasserbau Directorat (wax seal). This is an interesting letter, showing that an official from Altona using the Royal Service in order to mail a letter during his stay in Copenhagen, a very rare use from an Official traveling in an official capacity.

Folded parcel letter sheet 3 20 kvint from Frederiksberg 6 August 1877 to Dorpat, Livland (Tartu, Estonia). The letter has been sent over Woyens and stamped with the scarce box mark - Aus (über) Dänemark via Hamburg 2 – Porto von Woÿens” -. Transitmarks Hamburg and Eydtkühnen on reverse. Scarce.

Franco letter sheet dated Aalborg 4 September 1852 via Frederikshavn to Horten, Norway. Postmark – K.D.P.A. AALBORG. 4/9 – struck on front, and then from Frederikshavn directly to Norway. Straight line mark – Frederikshavn. – 28mm applied, extremely scarce postmark.

Unpaid letter from Aalborg via Helsingør 3 April 1851 to Stockholm, with K.D.P.A. AALBORG 3/4 ANTIa-U, blue ink not recorded by Vagn Jensen after 1 april 1851, presumably blue ink used since blue ink pad's were supplied for the cancellation of the 4 RBS adhesive, blue ink only in use until 7 April 1851. Transitmark HELSINGØR 5/4 1851. Charged 36S Skilling Swedish.

Letter from Helsingborg to Copenhagen via Helsingør 20 April 1866. On arrival in Helsingør the letter was stamped with the scarce boxed mark “Fra Sverrig” and Helsingør CDS on reverse 21.4.1866 and Copenhagen CDS same day. The postmark was ordered by the Helsingør Postoffice 3 June 1865 and apparently in use from 1 August 1865. Also the rate of 8 sk. charged was the special Øresund border rate.

Letter sheet sent from Copenhagen 28 May 1852 to Berlin. Prepaid “26” sk. marked upper right corner, convention transit mark “Aus Daenemarck d. Mecklenburg” in black struck on front and on reverse transit marks “OSTBAHN 29.5 – III T.”, two-ring “BERLIN-HAMBURG 29 5” and boxed “BROMBERG / BAHNHOF / 30 5”.

Royal Service letter sent from Aarhus 3 June 1860 to Skanderborg. Stamped on reception in Skanderborg with the scarcely found segment mark “SKANDERBORG” and noted in pencel ‘3/6 1860.'

Unpaid letter sent from Copenhagen to Uddevalla 18 October 1862. Sent by steamer „Excellencen Toll” endorsed “pr. Excellenc Toll” and “via Gothenborg”, 36 øre Swedish due, Danish share in blue crayon “2 1/2” Lybske sk. and back stamped Göteborg CDS 20.10.62.

Unpaid letter sent from Haderslev to San Francisco in transit through Hamburg and stamped Aachen two-ring “Aachen 10 Cts. 24/1” to credit the US post, and NY arrival stamp on back and “35” cents due by the addressee. Rare letter to California from Sønderjylland.

Letter sent from Aalborg to Gothenburg via Copenhagen 9 May 1855. Manuscript “f. Aalborg” and “pr. Iris” steamer from Aalborg to Copenhagen, there dropped in letter box and stamped with the Compass stamp.

Partly paid letter sent from Kolding to Frederikshald 14 September 1863 via Sandøsund 17 September. Danish postage 20 sk, consisting of 2 Lsk. Danish share, Seapostage 2 Lsk. and Norwegian share 2 Lsk. However partly franking not allowed, therefore full postage claimed, 12 sk. specie plus 1 sk. delivery fee, total 13 sk. specie due by the addressee.

Entire unpaid letter sent from Charleroi in Belgium to Altona 17. October 1855. Belgium share endorsed “2” decimes, T&T “7” Sgr. = 22 sk. danish + 5 sk. Danish rayon 1, total 27 sk. due.

Telegraph Depeche envelope sent with local messenger from the Viborg Telegraph Station on the Hobro-Thisted line. Endorsed “Budpenge betales ved Modtagelsen #udgjør – 16 ß.” and pre-printed “frit” crossed out with red crayon, a rare and expensive local express service letter.
