Printed matter letter sent from Reykjavik to Copenhagen 11 Dec. 1939 bearing a 7 aur heering issue. This letter was sent with »Brúarfoss« or »Gullfoss« which anchored at Kirkwall as mailed was ceased and sent for censorship in Liverpool, where the letter received the boxed “RELEASED BY CENSOR”, stamped on front and reverse. The letter is illustrade in Hopballe book page 125.

Airmail surcharge to the US, New York, 2x180 aur = 360 aur, plus 60 aur letter rate up to 20 gram and 60 aur registration fee, 480 aur. Apparently underfranked by 20 aur. Small imperfections.
