”ARDEGIS ”posted to late for morning delivery” mark in violet on front of local 3 aur King Christian IX stationery, Reykjavik December 17, 1903. Fine and clean Ardegis strike.

Mint postal stationery reply card with overprint 5 aur on 8 aur Double Kings issue.

Early stage proof of ornamentation alone in orange-brown, on grey stock with smooth surface.

5 Aur dark ultramarine single postal card “BRJEFSPJALD” 1879-issue white corners, Schilling #1C from Eyjarbakki 1890 to Helsingfors, Finland. Cancelled 'REYKJAVIK 12/5' with Edinburg small octagonal 'SHIP LETTER' and stamped 'HELSINGFORS 25-V-90'. Uprated with 5 aur green 1882 oval issue perf. 14 x 13 172. 10 aur UPU foreign post card rate. I have only recorded this card and a letter to Finland franked with Oval issues, rare destination. SE-corner cut.

“ALLT MED ISLENSKUM SKIPUM” advertising 4 aur King Christian X printed matter card with 1 Eyr to make up the 5 aur local rate from 1.1.1933. Cancelled Reykjavik 11 June 1933. Extremly rare postal card from Iceland.

10 aur double Postal card “BREJFSPJALD” with unsevered reply card Schilling #3, sent from Seydisfjördur 12 July 1891 to Otterup, and from there returned to Seydisfjördur 24 July. Rare with unsevered reply card.

5 AUR overprint on 8 aur King Christian IX reply card additionally franked with 3 aur brown Chr. X on postcard sent locally in Reykjavik 13 October 1921, correct local rate 8 aur from 15 May 1921 to 31 December 1932. Ringstrøm Nr. 51, original double card 20 type I or IV, Hjernamegin (mà).

10 aur postal card sent from Isafjördur to Copenhagen 13 August 1908. On the back of the card there is a topographic photo attached and for which reason the card most likely should have been charged as a letter.

10 aur Postal card “BREJFSPJALD” 1880-issue, Schilling #3 sent from Iceland Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Sent from the British Consulate in Reykjavik 20 August 1894, with Rio Grande do Sul receiving mark on front, 1 October 1894. Only recorded 10 aur card to Brazil. Two other stationery cards are recorded to South America; one 5 aur and one 8 aur card uprated with stamps from Iceland, only three recorded.

5 AUR overprint on 8 aur King Christian IX card additionally franked with 4 and 16 aur tied by Reykjavik CDS 22 June 1921. Correct 25 aur franking to Germany from 1 April 1921 to 30 September 1925 aur green Chr. X on postcard sent from Reykjavik to Hafnarfirdi 5 January 1921. Ringstrøm no. 48II, short flourish at the top of P, original card Ringstrøm type 38I.

Reykjavik swiss-type CDS 31 Dec, boxed “SHIP LETTER TROON” and two-ring “Troon 330” CDS 14 Jan, and arriving mark Copenhagen 16 Jan 1904. Gunuine and commercial card franked with 10 aur UPU rate to Denmark VIA ENGLAND. Schillling Nr. 10C overprint I, 7,25 mm. Rare.

10 aur stationery sent from Reykjavik to Frankfurt via Leith, cancelled Reykjavik 6 May 188- alongside Leith large octagonal boxed “SHIP LETTER”. Schilling Nr. 3C. Hosking #156.

10 aur Postal card “BREJFSPJALD” 1880-issue, Schilling #3 sent from Iceland to Leipzig. Posted aboard the ship that handed over the letter in Granton for onward postal service. Stamped numeral “131” alongside octagonal “SHIP LETTER - GRANTON”. Rare and unusual stamped postal card.

5 aur BRJEFSPJALD with ornamental frame for photograph affixed on reverse. Card with greetings on reverse and dated Reykjavik 12 February 1899, and addressee filled out on the front, but apparently not processed for mail service. Very unusual card.

Iceland BRJEFSPJALD colour proof sheet with frame only, in greyish black color. Rare.
