1919 Provisorier

Envelope sent from Thorshavn 20 January 1919 to Strænder. A provisional 2/5 ØRE adhesive and 5 øre Christian X tied by CDS THORSHAVN 20.1.1919. The overprint appear almost as a triple overprint, where one of the two fingerprints is almost complete with visible and fine characterics of the fingerprint.

Business card letter within Thorshavn 16 January 1919. 2/5 øre provisional 1919-issue (AFA 1 and Danish 5 øre Chr. X (AFA 68) tied by CDS “THORSHAVN 16.1.19”. Very unsual and tiny envelope, smallest 2/5 øre 1919-provisional recorded.

3 øre wavy-line single postcard sent within Thorshavn 22 January 1919, uprated with provisional 2 ØRE on 5 øre King Christian X, tied by CDS Thorshavn.

2 øre provisional issue in form of a bisected 4 øre wavy-line 1913-issue watermark Cross additionally franked with 5 øre King Christian X, paying the 7 øre local rate introduced from 1st of January 1919.
