Aarhus Bypost - 3 øre AARHUS TELEFON OG BYPOST brev-kort posted on 28 April 1887 and cancelled with straight line mark '28 4 87' black ink. Sent to Brygggeriet CERES, backstamped with sender's cachet 'FREDERIKSBJERG APOTHEK AARHUS'. Only three used examples recorded.

Bypost 3 øre ochre yellow BREVKORT (january 1881) canceled and sent to 'Hr. Kaptajn Bærentzen, Ny Kongensgade 15, 4 sal. - on message side ''Arcturus sejler på fredag til Trangisvåg og Thorshavn, Din heng. Chr. Bærentzen'.

10 øre grey/black/golden TELEGRAM FRIMÆRKE on dated EXPRES-BREVKORT dated 4 February 1881. Cancelled with 3-ring cancel, excellent condition.

Vejle Bypost letter sent to Andr. J. Schmidt, Shoemaker, Grønnegade 409, Vejle. A local 1887 3 øre green cancelled with star-type canceller VB in the middle, VB: Vejle Bypost. Extremely rare letter.

Franko-Mark 'KJØBENHAVNS BYPOST 3 ØRE' stamped on business envelope from Th. Nielsen & CO., Amagertorv 22, KBH K.

Local letter sent Copenhagen 9 July 1931 the female operasinger Karenmarie Nielsen, c/o Kiosk, corner of Østerbrogade/Jagtvej, kiosk no. 17. Two 5 øre King Christian X Jubilee paying local rate, at Telefonkiosken a provisional 25 øre blue 'KØBENHAVNS TELEFON KIOSKER) stamp affixed on the back.

Royal Service Lettter sent with Copenhagen Foot Post from Bornholm 13 September 1819. On reverse list number “8-“ and on front “10” Copenhagen foot post listing. Stamped with RED circular “FP”. DAKA 4B, ONLY RECORDED IN RED. Red ink indicate receiver to pay the postage, 8 sk. as indicated on reverse.

Undated folded letter, prepaid “frit” sent locally within Copenhagen through the Local Foot post ca. 1808. At top left corner written a provisional “F.P.)”, may either have been added by the foot post mailman on his route or the postmark may have been missing or mislaid, . It is considered a substitute for the Foot-post mark F.P. type II, only known example recorded, ex. Rathje collection. DAKA 2C.

Die proof in black of King Christian IX 5 øre denomination on thick large paper with impression of the copper block, designed by Hans Tegner. Rare.

Official Military letter with royal insignium “C7mus” sent from Odense 7 March 1772 to Husum. The King’s initial sin stylised form with a conventionalized royal crown above, signifies Royal Franking Privilege with certificate. Postal markings list number “1-“ on reverse. From 1 August 1771, a royal regulation announced, that military letters on official matters between the officials were subject to a certificate (Fr. Olsen, page 179.)

4 sk. BREV-KORT from Skive 29 June 1875 to Copenhagen. Skilling/Øre usage with 4 sk. paying 8 øre domestic post card rate. The 4 sk. card was used from 1.4.1871 paying for the 4 sk. domestic postcard rate, after 1.1.1875 - 4 sk. corresponded to 8 øre and paying the correct postcard rate. A beautiful piece in every respect.

4 skilling rouletted issue 1863, canceled with esrom style postmark 'SKJBK' Skjærbæk. Upright and distinct cancellation.

Letter sent from Esrom to Copenhagen 18 January 1870 franked with 4 sk. 1864-issue tied by esrom type “ESROM” alongside “Fredensborg” CDS and delivered by the Foot Post service in Copenhagen with large oval Foot Post mark dated 19.1.1870. Unusual combination of these two cancels.

"10 øre postcard franked with 20 øre Arms type on EXPRESS service from Copenhagen to Hamburg 25 February 1905 6-7 evening, and arrived Hamburg next day 8-9 morning. "With express service, courier paid, Not to be delivered at night""

Parcel letter (Adressebrev) 8,80 kg. from Copenhagen Railroad station 18 June 1906 to Taasinge. 20 øre blue King Chr IX and new engraving 10 øre red, tied by 3-ring 'K 2' Esrom type alongside swiss type 'KJØBENHAVN 18.6.06 11-5-E *B.* ', parcel label 'Kjøbenhavn B 550.' and backstamped 'TAASINGE 19.6.06 7-8F'. Vagn Jensen recorded from 3.3.1910 - 5.10.1916, this letter is postmarked June 1906.

Printed matter dated Stubbekjøbing 17 February 1886. Copenhagen Bypost 2 øre blue (DAKA 12) cancelled with datestamp '20 / 12-1'. Excellent quality.
