Red Cross envelope 'HOSPITALSKIBET JUTLANDIA' under Dansk Røde Kors sent by the dentist onboard Jutlandia, postmarked in Copenhagen 3 August 1951. Jutlandia was contracted as hospitalship during the Corea war from January 23, 1951. Sent via US APO stamped on two 3c US stamps, Korean block of four and Danish 15 øre King Frederik IX, rare 3-countries mixed franking.

Airmail letter sent from Odense to Paraguay 19 November 1935 bearing 5 øre HC Andersen and three 1 kr. Airmail stamp tied by Odense CDS. This flight from Africa to South America is aboard the 2nd pendular flight. A short time in November 1935 the ship was taken ashore for repairs and flights was carried out by a Zeppeliner across the Atlantic sea.

60 øre King Frederik blue, 1899-1959 60th Birthday. Die proof in dark blue, fantastic item and extremely rare.

20 øre essay for the 1944 Church issue in black on large paper 145 x 133 mm with impression of the copper block. Fine quality of a rare essay.

Air mail letter sent from Copenhagen to Brazil 15 June 1936 bearing HC Andersen 30 øre 3-strip and pair 2 Kr. King Chr. X tied by CDS “KØBENHAVN 12 - 15.6.36” and front stamped with red “DEUTSCHE LUFTPOST - EUROPA-SÜDAMERIKA”. Letter rate 30 øre 0-20 gram, plus 2x 230 øre airmail surcharge each 5 gr (5-10 gram), correct franking of 490 øre.

Letter sent from Holsted to Brørup 27. September 1944 franked with 10 øre underpaying the 20 øre rate. The postal service assumed that the letter contained money, then endorsed by “Formodes at indeholde Penge” and stamped “Brørup Postkontor” “27. SEP 1944”. As such, the letter were opened and proved to contain 13 kr. and fined with 20%, thus kr. 2,60 plus missing postage max. 20 øre due plus registration, 50 øre, total 3,10 kr. due by addressee.

BRAILLE letter sent from Copenhagen to Vanløse 28 August 1979 endorsed “Blindskrift” and such letters were not subject to postage. Braille letter is inside the letter sheet.

Parcel letter sent from “Dansk FN kommando UNEF” in Egypt December 1957, for a parcel weighing 5 kg - sent a Danish dometic parcel rate.
