August 1933. 10 øre wavy-line and 15 øre Caravel issue paying 25 øre 2nd letter rate (50-250g). 10 øre cancelled with “LINDBERGH POST - GRØNLAND REYKJAVIK” in purple stamped in Greenland, and 15 øre Caravel with one short perforation, with KØBENHAVN 24.8.33 14.45 K.19 on arrival at Copenhagen., on reverse oval cachet 'GRØNLANDS STYRELSE'. This is one of few letters sent by Mr. Petersen to his father in Nyborg. Rare and early example of Greenland Pioneer Mail.
