King Chrisitan 1 Kr. narrow lines and 5 Kr. broken lines, 50 aur Views and Buildings and 20 aur Gullfoss tied by cds ‘REYKJAVIK 3.X.32’. Sent via Denmark with parcel label ‘757 Reykjavik’ and transit mark ‘KJØBENHAVN 12.10.32.11-13 / 3 TOLD POSTKT.’ Parcel weighing 3,3 kilos, total postage paid kr. 6,70 for parcels between 3-5 kg to Canada via Denmark 1.12.1931 – 31.1.1935. Parcels to North America are extremely scarce.

Envelope from Nordfirdi, Iceland 25 July 1925 to Copenhagen, Denmark. 20 aur brown King Christian X cancelled with Danish cds ‘VEJLE 52.7.25 9-11F’ alongside rectangular framed ‘Paquebot’ and noted ‘Pr. S/S. Godafoss’. The Icelandic letters arriving on board ships sailing to Vejle were all horse shipment’s, carrying also the postal mail to Denmark. Horsetrader Carl Sørensen imported the horses and the last known date with these ships from Iceland is 25 July 1925, first of these ships arrived 1920 in Vejle.

Skib fra Island.' with reception mark KJØBENHAVN 2 OMB. 16.6.23 B. An extremely rare ship letter cancellation, very fresh and every aspect of this letter in superb condition.

Registered letter sent via Edinburgh from Reykjavik 6 February 1923 to Copenhagen, bearing a 50 aur and 20 aur King Christian X broken lines tied by Reykjavik CDS. Letter rate up to 40 gram 40 aur plus 30 aur registration fee, total 70 aur postage. Stamps with small imperfections.
