Postcard sent from Hamburg 8 August 1913 to Halle, Germany. With 3pf DR and scene from Thorshavn harbour, from the Nordlandfahrten der Hamburg-Amerika Linie with the steamer VICTORIA LUISE, arrived at Thorshavn 8 August 1913.

Envelope from Faroe Islands November 1935 via Edinburgh to Copenhagen, Denmark and bearing a 15 øre red Hans Christian Andernsen adhesive, tied by EDINBURGH 23 NOV 1935 machine cancel and 1-line mark PAQUEBOT italic type, alongside 3-line ship mark - Via Leith / med / S/S Island, a scarce ship mark in very fine condition.

Telegram received 6 December 1914 at Thorshavn to Vaag from Aarhus, Denmark. Stamped with DET STORE NORDISKE TELEGRAFSELSKAB / 6 DEC 1914.

Letter from Nantes to St. Thomas 14 April 1866 to Carupano, care of St. Thomas agent. Routing instruction Voie d’Angleterre, stamped P.P. and London transit AP16, with receiving mark closed ring ST. THOMAS A MY2 66 on reverse. Charged 4d due, the letter has been forwarded to Carupano, Venezuela. From Southampton RMSPC SEINE arriving 1 May at St. Thomas. A most unusual mixed franking with French and British postage.

4 sk. 1863 rouletted, strip of 4 and 3 tied on piece, beautifully cancelled with purple ink crosses.

Single postcard “1 CENT 1901” on 2¢ blue 5 lines, Frame Group 3F, sent from Christiansted 27 January 1902 to St. Croix. Genuine usage, rare on the provisional cards. 

Advertising envelope “Allgemeine Zeitung” sent from Copenhagen to Veile, bearing an 8 øre bicolored perf. 14 x 13 ½. A rare and unusual advertising envelope with a page from a newspaper printed.

Entire dated St. Croix 5 March 1810 to Aberdeen, Scotland and Edinburgh datestamp in red “APR / W / 8 / M / 1810”. Packet rate West Indies to Falmouth 1/1d, Falmouth to Aberdeen inland rate 600-700 miles 1/4d, total 2/5 charged by addressee. Only one of two blue impression of this postmark known, and this is the finest of the two. This being a single letter, the other a double rate letter, both sent at exactly the same date.

Letter sheet sent from Copenhagen 28 May 1852 to Berlin. Prepaid “26” sk. marked upper right corner, convention transit mark “Aus Daenemarck d. Mecklenburg” in black struck on front and on reverse transit marks “OSTBAHN 29.5 – III T.”, two-ring “BERLIN-HAMBURG 29 5” and boxed “BROMBERG / BAHNHOF / 30 5”.

50 cents bicoloured normal frame, pos. 99-100, imperforate pair with large margins from lower right sheet corner. Proof without watermark and gum. Rare.

Danish Adressekort from Korsør to “Inspektionsskibet „Ingolf” in Greenland waters 23 July 1937 via Grønlands Styrelse. Danish rate 40 øre, rate to Greenland 3-5 kilo kr. 1,90 charged. Mail to the Military ships, should always be sent to Copenhagen’s Letter/Parcel Office and from there sent to the ship, here via Grønlands Styrelse for transport to Greenland.

"Block of four with Provisional Ze-tenant "Prir" SMALL / LARGE overprint perforation 12 3/4, cancelled with “REYKJAVIK 14.11.1897” CDS. Only 3-4 used blocks of four recorded, this could well be the best preserved and well centred stamps and nicely cancelled."

10 aur Airmail Parliament 1000 years, official stamp overprinted “Pjonustumerki” in pair. Variety with only one of the stamps overprinted. As far as I have found out, such a pair has not previously been reported.

4 øre Correspondence-Card with additional 4 øre bicolored, with one of the stamps stamped by 3-line “P. F. Hald, Algade 13, AALBORG”, an early example of perfin !

Royal Service letter sent from Aarhus 3 June 1860 to Skanderborg. Stamped on reception in Skanderborg with the scarcely found segment mark “SKANDERBORG” and noted in pencel ‘3/6 1860.'

Air Mail service erected due to frozen waters. Letter sent from Holte to Struer 10 February 1922 bearing two 20 øre Christian X issue, paying 20 øre letter rate and 20 øre Air Mail charge. The plane flew between Aarhus-Samsø and Kalundborg. The Air Force established a tent camp at Gisseløre near Kalundborg and an “Airport” was made directly on the ice.

Letter franked with 10 cents bicoloured inverted frame VII printing from Christiansted to Copenhagen December 19, 1898 tied by Christiansted cds. 10 cents UPU rate. St. Thomas transit and Copenhagen arrival mark on reverse. A fine cover.

Letter from St. Thomas to Assens January 9, 1894 franked with a pair of 5 cents bicoloured VI printing to make up the 10 cents UPU rate. Possible earliest reported use of VI printing.

Transatlantic letter from Copenhagen to Baltimore Maryland August 25, 1873 and then forwarded poste restante to Vienna in Austria. Transit marks New York, Baltimore and Vienna. Boxed “Via Tydskland”. Despite some small perforation faults, this is a very unusual transatlantic letter.

Postal 4 sk. stationery envelope sent from Copenhagen to Brussels 22 June 1872, additional franked with 2 sk. and two 4 sk. bicoloured issues, the 4 sk. originally attached as separated to the envelope. Rare usage to Belgium, besides it's also sent to the legendary Belgian Stamp dealer “J. B. Moens”

Soldier's letter sent from Lysabild, Als to Korsør 16 March 1864 and inside dated 10 March 1864. Stamped “FELTPOST NO. 1 P1 16/3” and charged “6” sk. in red crayon.
