Local letter from Fyns Stiftamtsstue dated 10 July 1852 to Odense. Postage paid with 4 RBS Thiele I (envelope folded through stamp), tied and cancelled with what I believe what has happened, is that the clerk has taken the cover, flipped it over and then pressed the corner with the stamp onto the ink pad. I have never seen similar way of cancelling in the past. A most unusual method of cancellation.

4 sk. 1863 rouletted, strip of 4 and 3 tied on piece, beautifully cancelled with purple ink crosses.

Advertising envelope “Allgemeine Zeitung” sent from Copenhagen to Veile, bearing an 8 øre bicolored perf. 14 x 13 ½. A rare and unusual advertising envelope with a page from a newspaper printed.

Letter sheet sent from Copenhagen 28 May 1852 to Berlin. Prepaid “26” sk. marked upper right corner, convention transit mark “Aus Daenemarck d. Mecklenburg” in black struck on front and on reverse transit marks “OSTBAHN 29.5 – III T.”, two-ring “BERLIN-HAMBURG 29 5” and boxed “BROMBERG / BAHNHOF / 30 5”.

4 øre Correspondence-Card with additional 4 øre bicolored, with one of the stamps stamped by 3-line “P. F. Hald, Algade 13, AALBORG”, an early example of perfin !

Royal Service letter sent from Aarhus 3 June 1860 to Skanderborg. Stamped on reception in Skanderborg with the scarcely found segment mark “SKANDERBORG” and noted in pencel ‘3/6 1860.'

Air Mail service erected due to frozen waters. Letter sent from Holte to Struer 10 February 1922 bearing two 20 øre Christian X issue, paying 20 øre letter rate and 20 øre Air Mail charge. The plane flew between Aarhus-Samsø and Kalundborg. The Air Force established a tent camp at Gisseløre near Kalundborg and an “Airport” was made directly on the ice.

Transatlantic letter from Copenhagen to Baltimore Maryland August 25, 1873 and then forwarded poste restante to Vienna in Austria. Transit marks New York, Baltimore and Vienna. Boxed “Via Tydskland”. Despite some small perforation faults, this is a very unusual transatlantic letter.

Postal 4 sk. stationery envelope sent from Copenhagen to Brussels 22 June 1872, additional franked with 2 sk. and two 4 sk. bicoloured issues, the 4 sk. originally attached as separated to the envelope. Rare usage to Belgium, besides it's also sent to the legendary Belgian Stamp dealer “J. B. Moens”

Soldier's letter sent from Lysabild, Als to Korsør 16 March 1864 and inside dated 10 March 1864. Stamped “FELTPOST NO. 1 P1 16/3” and charged “6” sk. in red crayon.

10 øre reply-card sent from Nordby Fanø to Chemnitz and returned with Chemnitz CDS 6 August 1895 and Nordy arrival mark on reply card. Rare set.

Royal Service letter sent from Slagelse to Kallundborg 4 December 1852 stamped with 1-line mark “SLAGELSE” 4/12 1852. Only recorded used 32 days from November 1852 til Jan 1853.

Royal Service letter sent from Skanderborg to Viborg 29 May 1860 stamped with the scarcely found segment mark “SKANDERBORG”.

Postmarked boxed RAM-2 – AALBORG 14 Aug.27. – Via Hamburg – DANEMARCK / PAR HAMBOURG – and – T.T.R.4 – Thurn & Taxis Oberpostamt. Red Frendch border mark, Paris Transitmark. Postage due 20 decimes for the distance Hambourg-Bordeaux for letters of 7,5 gr. Danish List no. 16-40.

Copenhagen “Fri-Correspondance” sent to F. Hattings “No. 77.”sent 8 February 1894, stamped and affixed with a 4 øre bicolored paid by the addressee for order of some meat products. Rare.

Unpaid letter sent from Copenhagen to Uddevalla 18 October 1862. Sent by steamer „Excellencen Toll” endorsed “pr. Excellenc Toll” and “via Gothenborg”, 36 øre Swedish due, Danish share in blue crayon “2 1/2” Lybske sk. and back stamped Göteborg CDS 20.10.62.
