2 cents single postal card sent from St. Thomas 27 December 1895 to Berlin, Germany. 2 cents card 5 text lines, frame type 3Ha [5,0 – 4,0] uprated with 1 cent bicolored inverted frame printing VII with two round corner perforations. Reception mark Berlin 17/1 1896. Sent with German HAPAG steamer, stamped purple ink ‘AUSTRALIA’ line mark twice, manuscript ‘St. Thomas 27/XII 95’ red ink. UPU postcard rate 3¢ until 31.12.1901.

Private Mailing Card, Hamburg-American Line’s Cruises to the West Indies, Steamer ‘PRINZESSIN VICTORIA LUISE’ sent from St. Thomas 14 January 1904 to Illinois, USA. 2¢ Coat-of-Arms cancelled with cds ST. THOMAS 14/1 1904. UPU postcard rate 2¢ from 1.1.1902.

Postcard, to Gendarm Rasmussen Nr. 59, Frederiksted. An already used 5 øre Danish King Frederik VIII adhesive, affixed and then cancelled with a purple rubber mark, partly ‘St. Cröix’, maybe a stamp from the ‘Kasernen’. Certainly not sent with the post, likely delivered soldier's themselves.

Letter from Christiansted April 1915 to Charlottenlund, Denmark. 10 BIT and 15 BIT King Frederik VIII tied by LAP Christiansted, backstamped ‘CHARLOTTENLUND 16.4.1915’. UPU letter rate 25 BIT from 1.10.1909 – 31.3.1917.

Double picture postcard with St. Thomas view sent from St. Thomas 20 July 1910 to Münich, Germany. 30 BIT King Frederik VIII extremely rare SINGLE FRANKING tied by LAP ‘ST. THOMAS 20/7 1910’, sent as printed matter and registered mail with boxed mark ‘ST. THOMAS / R / 8399’ and reception mark on front ‘SOLLN 2. / (VILLENKOLONIE) 16 AUG 10’. UPU printed matter rate 5 BIT plus 25 BIT registration few, correct 30 BIT rate.

Prepaid entire from Copenhagen 23 June 1850 to Frederiksted, Danish West Indies. Paid 79 sk. in cash and noted ‘8’ top middle for 8 sk. late delivery fee between 1-2 hours after closing hours at the Copenhagen post office. British postage share 1/4d, London transit mark on front.

Prepaid envelope from Haderslev 18 January 1863 to Christiansted, Danish West Indies. Paid 48 sk. with 39/9 sk. foreign/Danish share of the postage. Hamburg transit, London transit and Christiansted date stamps on front, and red crayon ‘4’ cents for local delivery in DWI.

3 cents 1866 imperforate, unused, multiple of 15 with full sheet margin and clearly visible watermark in the margin. Pos. 71-75, 81-85, 91-95 in the sheet.

1 Franc pair and 25 BIT King Frederik VIII tied on large piece from parcelcard, franked at the rate of 2,50 Francs for a likely sent to Denmark via Germany, weighing up to 10 pound, rate valid after 1910 until 1917.

3 cent bicoloured IV printing, normal frame, frame group IV. Imperforate, thin and small imperfections on front.

Postcard originated Christiansted via St. Thomas to Copenhagen 5. September 1907. At St. Thomas cancelled with “C” Christiansted and St. Thomas mute 4-ring tying the stamp alongside St. Thomas CDS.

50 BIT King Christian X die colour proof in the violet colour approved for the 15 BIT stamp. Printed on cross watermarked white paper stamped by the printing house H. H. Thieles Bogtrykkeri København, dated manuscript 30/10-14. A most spetacular exhibition item. Unique.

5 Francs St. Thomas Harbour issued cancelled with cds ‘ST. THOMAS 30/7 1908’. Plate flaw with broken white line under ‘K·VE’ in DANSK VESTINDIEN, on the upper stamp of the pair. AFA catalog value for the stamps alone DKK 5.400.

Registered letter from St. Thomas 15 November 1912 to Steyrermühl, Austria. Franked with the entire set of King Frederik VIII issue except for the 50 BIT, overfranked.

Sent with RMSPC steamer 'PARANA' departing from St. Thomas 16 July and arriving at Southampton 1 August. London 'PAID ALL / AU 2 / 1857', red circle 'PD', French 'ANGL / AMB.CALAIS 1 3 AOUT 57', backstamped small double ring 'ST. THOMAS 16 JUL 1857', Paris and receiving mark 'ST-FLORENT-EN-CORSE 9 AOUT 57 / 19'.

Letter from St. Thomas 14 August 1878 to Odense, Denmark. Franked with pair 10 cents I printing (horizontal crease in top of stamps), canceled with antiqua 'ST. THOMAS 14/8 1878' and transit stamped 'LONDON PAID' on front, although still a very rare early letter. UPU 10 cents double letter rate 20 cents 1.9.1877 - 31.12.1901.

Copenhagen 19 September 1851 to St. Croix, Danish West Indies. Royal Service letter to the Governor of Danish West Indies at St. Croix, stamped with boxed 'Aus Daenemarck. / d. Meckleburg', tpo 'HAGENOW-ROSTOCK', 'MAGDEBURG-WITTENBERG', 'BERLIN-HAMBURG', 'BERLIN-MINDEN' and 'AACHEN - BAHNHOF 22/9' and red 1-ring London 'AN 23SP23 1851'. An unusal Royal Service letter to Danish West Indies, effected by the tropical climate.

1 CENT 1901 double postal card from locally within St. Thomas 22 April 1902 and replied on message side St. Thomas 23 April 1902. Chess card sent among soldiers at the fortress at St. Thomas. Only 950 double cards 2nd printing issued with ‘1 CENT 1901’ overprint, very few unsevered provisional double cards recorded.

Registered letter front from Christiansted 16.5.1906 to Aarhus, Denmark. St. Thomas harbour 1 Franc, 2 and 5 Francs together with King Christian IX 5, 10, 20, 25, 40 and 50 BIT, complete sets on cover. Cancelled with cds CHRISTIANSTED 16/5 1906, registration mark 'Dansk Vestindien / R / No. 177 (6284)' and boxed 'Anbefalet'. ONLY THREE RECORDED with complete set of the King Christian IX and St. Thomas Harbour view on cover.

Insufficiently franked letter from St. Kitts 10 April 1895 to St. Thomas, Danish West Indies. A 2 1/2d Leward Islands stamp affixed, not obliterated, and on arrival at St. Thomas charged 10 cents. A note on the letter ‘ad S.T. 448/95’, possible because a clerical note about the missing postage, reception mark ‘ST: THOMAS 11/4 1895’. A rare and unusual postage due letter.
