Imperforate black print with 10 aur, 10 aur frame and building center of the Views and Building issue, small paper fold to the right of the frame print. A very rare set printed on one piece of paper.

Envelope with pair 10 aur Oval type Icelandic issue sent locally within Copenhagen 30 November 1899. The pair 10 aur oval perforation 12¾ cancelled with cds ‘KJØBENHAVN KKB 30.11.99.3-4E’ framed framed with blue crayon and ‘O=’, charged double 4 øre Danish local rate, due 8 øre by addressee. The letter is sent by the company Thor. E. Tulinius company in Copenhagen, likely the letter was intended to be sent from Iceland, but did not happen, but sent from Copenhagen instead. A very unusual cover with ‘fraudulent’ use of the Icelandic stamps in Copenhagen.

Parcel card from Remsched 1 November 1927 to Reykjavik, Iceland. Deutsches Reich with three 100 pf (MI 343) and two on the back and 40 pf Leibniz (MI 395) cancelled 'REMSCHEID 1.11.1927'. Rare destination.

7 aur green Views and Buildings approved colour proof affixed on cardboard paper. The perforation is different here with line perforation 11½, the issued stamps is with comb perforation 14 x 14½. Only recorded.

Postcard from Dyrafjördur 26 March 1901 to Reykjavik. Oval 5 aur dull green III printing 1898 tied by grotesque ‘DYRAFJÖRDUR 26/3’ with receiving cds ‘REYKJAVIK 29.3.1901’ struck on front. Domestic postcard rate 5 aur from December 1879 – 15.10.1917.

40 aur light-liac II printing perforation 14 x 13½, cancelled with DANISH grotesque type cds ‘KJØBENHAVN.III 4/7 1POST’ – Extremely beautiful stamp and maybe the best cancelled copy of this printing.

5 Aur dark ultramarine single postal card “BRJEFSPJALD” 1879-issue white corners, Schilling #1C from Eyjarbakki 1890 to Helsingfors, Finland. Cancelled 'REYKJAVIK 12/5' with Edinburg small octagonal 'SHIP LETTER' and stamped 'HELSINGFORS 25-V-90'. Uprated with 5 aur green 1882 oval issue perf. 14 x 13 172. 10 aur UPU foreign post card rate. I have only recorded this card and a letter to Finland franked with Oval issues, rare destination. SE-corner cut.

Postcard Reykjavik 16 August 1905 to Thorshavn, Faroe Islands. Franked with pair of 4 aur King Christian IX tied with swiss type 'REYKJAVIK 16-8-1905' and receiving 'THORSHAVN 14-9.-1905' swiss type on front.

Official letter from Patreksfjördur 3 November 1928 to Reykjavik. 5 and 15 aur King Christian X PJONUSTU tied with swiss type 'PATREKSFJÖRDUR -3.-11-1928.'

Letter from Reykjavik 23 August 1917 to Hässleholm, Sweden. Eight 1 Eyr and four 3 aur Two-King's issue tied with 'REYKJAVIK 23VIII.17' and backstamped in Sweden 22.11.17. Opened by British censor and resealing tape 'OPENED BY CENSOR / 4983'.

Postcard from Reykjavik 29 April 1909 to Gentinnes, Belgium. 1 Eyr and 4 aur Two-King's issue tied with 'REYKJAVIK 29.4.09' and 'GENTINNES 6 MAI 6-7 1909', sent at 5 aur printed matter rate.

Insufficiently paid letter from Edinburgh 23 April 1952 to Reykjavik, Iceland. British 4d stamp, insufficiently prepaid, charged and stamped 'T 5C / F.S.' due. In payment for the postage due an ordinary postage stamps of 25 aur green Hekla (1948) were used in payment of the postage due, cancelled with a Reykjavik cds. Extremely rare with ordinary stamps used as postage due, even though that Iceland never issued postage due stamps.
